In threading, a thin cottong thread specially designed for threading is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level, therefore if it is done on regular basis it weakens the hair follicle so hair growth becomes less dense over time. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair.
Threading does not pull-off the top layer of the skin, the delicate skin around your eyes will not be sacrificed. It provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is more gentle on the skin.
No chance of getting burned skin as with wax. Unlike waxing, threading uses no chemicals or heat on the skin which prevents any ripping or irritation from occuring.
A little redness after threading is normal. It should subside on its own. If necessary, apply cool compress to the area.
